It's a Process
Publication, Information design, Interactive, Web
A small group of students at the College for Creative Studies were asked to help reshape the Compuware culture. Through research and analysis it was concluded that they should become more design-centric within their culture.
We then implemented various tools to help them achieve this.
A website, book and workbook.
One of my primary tasks within the group was the workbook, which is all original collaborative group content. The workbook is designed to assist the user in creating an effective persona for a particular project that they are working on.
2012 Adobe Design Achievement Award Semi-finalist.
These were created for Chaos magazine as Daily Fashion Editorials.
This was a collaborative project with Basia Stryjecka. We were given the challenge of creating a broadside (poster) which would convey a message or an idea. We chose to talk about the environment.
Although this is a very exploited topic already, we thought of ways to approach it differently. Through our brainstorming we chose to use the idea that although adults are meant to inspire children, it can also be the other way around.
We asked children in Preschool through Second grade from various background and areas to answer two questions, by drawing a picture for each. The final drawings were then printed over and combined to create two large final posters. We also created postcards as takeaways with the children's quotes as to what they drew and why.

Thank You for Being Here Project
Interactive, Print Size: 8.5"x11"-?
This project was designed to bring character to corners of Detroit that lack attention. People passing by are thanked for being here and being a part of the city. They are then invited to write down what they are thankful for and to view others’ responses.
The Tumblr displays the posters in the corners that they reside in, documented in stages. If you see any around Detroit, be sure to participate! Take a minute or two to be thankful and take a photo. Then tag it on Instagram- #TYFBH.
